First Steps – Admission to NMSU

The first step to becoming a teacher, or majoring in the many education-related careers, is to apply to the university and declare a major (Undergraduate Admissions).  College of Education undergraduate students are advised by the Advisement Center. Our advisers can help you map out your pathway from start to finish, or if you are changing majors, help you evaluate the credits you have already earned, and help you determine your next steps.
