J. Paul Taylor Endowed Professorship in Education
Betsy Cahill, C&I Associate Professor, is the first to hold the J. Paul Taylor Endowed Professorship in Education. Established in honor of Taylor, a retired state representative and a strong believer in promoting early childhood education, this professorship continues his legacy of advocacy work on behalf of New Mexico’s youth. Cahill’s areas of specialization include teacher development, early childhood education and care and anti-bias/multicultural education research and practice. She has published multiple articles on these issues and has secured grants allowing for the development of many new programs.
