ELA doctoral student to serve on the 2018 – 2020 National Executive Committee

LeAnne SalazarCongratulations to LeAnne Salazar, Educational Leadership & Administration doctoral student, for being selected to serve on the 2018 – 2020 National Executive Committee (NEC), as a student member! “As a doctoral student at New Mexico State University, I am proud to serve and represent NMSU,” Salazar said.

The Gamma Beta Phi Society, a national collegiate honor society, was chartered on March 22, 1964 in Spartanburg, South Carolina. The Society’s focus remains on the pillars from which it was established – promoting the highest levels of scholarship through academic success, serving as a catalyst for civic engagement through community service (locally, regionally, and nationally), and promoting character development through servant leadership. Today, Gamma Beta Phi has chapters at community colleges, liberal arts institutions, and private/public research institutions across the United States.
