2013 Distinguished Alumnus Eduardo Holguin

Eduardo Holguin is the 2013 Distinguished alumnus from the College of Education. He received a Bachelor of Science Elementary Education degree, as well as his Master of Arts in Counseling and Guidance. For 27 years he taught as a bilingual teacher at Booker T. Washington Elementary School. Mr. Holguin helped create, support, and pass the Three Tiered Licensure bill, giving teachers compensation for their continued improvement through demonstration skills.
