Introduction to the Internet

The internet is a vast collection of computers, connected in a network that allows each computer to communicate with all the others. Following this are some links to web sites that can instruct you more on the background and uses of the internet. Clicking on a link will open a new browser window. (Browsers are discussed in more detail later.) To return to this site, just close the new window.

You need to select the first link "Welcome to the Web Tutorial." Check out the other ones as you have time.
