Understanding the meanings of a specific vocabulary in a field is essential to make the studies more productive and more creative. Desertification as a field of study comprises some specific terms, such as overgrazing, encroachment, deforestation.

To improve your vocabulary about desertification, take a look at the desertification puzzle. When you finish, visit the following sites to find some specific terms.

Act as a scientist who wants to develop a specific dictionary about desertification in order to be used by your students in class. For this purpose, find 15-20 specific terms in the field of desert or desertification. Explain their meanings and make example sentences by using each of these terms. You can also include graphics and pictures for a better understanding.
