The Web is an information superhighway, but it can also be an information minefield. This WebQuest will help you learn to evaluate sources on the Web for accuracy and validity.

The following pages will tell you more about the project, and what you need to do to complete the WebQuest. Click on the right arrow at the bottom.

The Earth is flat. The moon landing was a hoax. Aliens have landed in Roswell, New Mexico. The Holocaust never happened. Elvis is alive and well in Bermuda. If you don't believe it, look it up on the World Wide Web, it's all there, but is it all true?

On the Internet, anyone can publish anything to a worldwide audience within a matter of minutes. This WebQuest is designed to help you sort "good" information from"bad". This is a team project, so get ready to work in groups. Follow the right arrow link at the bottom of this page to learn more about the project.
