Other Occupations
The skills learned in the classroom are transferrable to many settings. The National Park Service uses educators at historic sites, museums and parks. Publishers need curriculum specialists, sales representatives and managers who understand educational needs. Many hospitals, libraries and large corporation use former teachers for training and public outreach positions.
