Denise Briggs Outstanding Senior Award

Denise M. Briggs received the first Outstanding Senior award in the fall of 1989 in the College of Education. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education in 1989, and her Master’s Degree in 2010 in Education. The Outstanding Senior Award is an award given each semester to one student by each academic college by the NMSU Alumni Office. The students must be graduating seniors, and apply within their college to be eligible for the award.

In 2005, Dr. Dinus and June Briggs, the parents of Denise Briggs, created the Denise Briggs Current Use Outstanding Senior Award in the College of Education where they present a cash gift to the current Outstanding Senior recipient each semester.
