SC2 Scientific Inquiry Workshop
5th-12th grade teachers met on Oct 3rd to learn how to scaffold scientific inquiry in their classrooms. 5th grade teachers used a combination of simple machines to construct Rube Goldberg devices, 6th grade teachers constructed and classified molecules, 7th/8th grade teachers combined biochemistry and human anatomy to measure their CO2 output, and high school teachers explored different levels of inquiry they could integrate into their curriculum.
