Master of Arts in Teaching Science for New Mexico K-8 Teachers
In order for our children to succeed and our nation to be competitive and grow, K-8 teachers must be engaged in meaningful course work with sound content knowledge and pedagogical strategies. The Master of Arts in Teaching Science program provides 21 credits in science, which ensures that K-8 teachers are "highly qualifield" as mandated by the No Child Left Behind legislation.
