Friday, October 17th, 2008 – Field Trip Friday: There will be multiple opportunities to visit local environmental education programs, workshops and events. Activities will vary between indoor and out. Sign up on conference registration forms for an additional $10 – activities will be first come first serve until full. Activity descriptions are listed on the registration form or download PDF.
No on-site registrations will be accepted for these sessions
Friday, October 17th, 2008 - Evening Reception: Wander around UNM’s Dane Smith Hall to view exhibitor booths before crossing campus to Woodward Hall. Here, from 6:30-9:00 pm New Mexico’s Lieutenant Governor Diane Denish will moderate an event themed “Educating for a Sustainable Future”. Guest panelists will represent the fields of Science & Technology, Mathematics, Social Issues and the Environment (this event will be open to the public).
Saturday, October 18th, 2008 – Concurrent Sessions: Sessions will be held at UNM’s Dane Smith Hall and will be 45 or 75 minutes in length, representing Math, Science, Environmental and Inter-disciplinary tracks.
