NMSU Community Mental Health & Wellness Clinic

The Clinic is a collaborative project of New Mexico State University between the Counseling & Educational Psychology (CEP) Department, and Family & Consumer Sciences' Marriage & Family Therapy (MFT) Program. We provide a wide range of counseling, therapy, and other mental health-related services for members of the Las Cruces community and surrounding region. Trainees (PhD, MFT, MA/MS, and EdS students) and professional staff (including several New Mexico licensed psychologists) offer the benefits of their training in providing skilled and compassionate assistance to persons in need.
We offer services at two locations on the NMSU Campus:
Central Campus: O'Donnell Hall, Room 047 | South Campus: Cervantes Village, C-14
Please call us at 575-646-5365, or email us at theclinic@nmsu.edu, for information on scheduling any of the following services.

- Consultation & education
The work of all trainees is supervised by faculty members; advanced doctoral students also provide supervision under the guidance of a New Mexico licensed psychologist. All services comply with relevant professional ethical codes and state & federal healthcare laws.
The Clinic is dedicated to serving community members regardless of income or any other factor that may have previously prevented access to mental health services. Fees for services to community members are offered on a sliding scale based on household income & federal guidelines. Professional staff, trainees, and support staff value diversity and treat all community members with dignity, respect, and professionalism.
