María Luisa González, Ph.D. Executive Director- CeBIEL margonza@nmsu.edu
Regents Professor in Educational Management and Development at New Mexico State University. Dr. González's areas of interest include leadership in public school administration, multicultural organizations, and gender related administration. Her publications include articles in national journals on marginalized children and leadership in border areas. Professor González has also co-edited a book on the education of Latino students with emphasis on administrative practice. She is a recipient of the Rousch Outstanding Teaching Award, the Governor's Award for Outstanding New Mexico Women, and the Excellence in Education Award from the New Mexico Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development. She is a former national president of the University Council for Educational Administration.
