Internationally renowned Dancer & Choreographer Antonio Granjero

Antonio Granjero was born in Jerez de la Frontera (Spain). He has shared the stage with such prestigious artists as Antonio Canales and Gerardo Nuñez. He represented Jerez in the International Exposition in Seville. Antonio toured Germany and Poland as the guest artist of the flamenco company Alhama, collaborating also in the choreography of the show "Viva Sevilla", as well as with artists from Madrid such as La Tati, Manolete and El Güito.
Antonio performed with the María Benitez company as a soloist and choreographer, and as a guest artist for the Maria Serrano Company (Sevilla), Esmeralda Enriquez Company (Canada), Susana Di Palma (Minnesota) and the Victor Monge “Serranito” Company. He has had the honor of performing at the most prestigious Flamenco events in the world, known as the “Bienal of Sevilla” and the “Festival of Jerez” accompanying “Cañizares Company.” Antonio has recently relocated to San Antonio, Texas where he is the co-artistic director of Entre Flamenco DanzArt Center and director of Entre Flamenco Dance Company.
Antonio Granjero and his company, Entre Flamenco, will be teaching classes, open to the general public, Monday September 28th - Friday October 2nd. Classes will be held at New Mexico State University’s Activity Center Studio 229.Cost of the entire workshop is $200 (14 classes) - $140 for PADI members; $150 for just the evening classes (10 classes) - $100 for PADI members; and $20 for a single class - $15 for PADI members.
The company will also be performing “ Del Sur ” at the Rio Grande Theatre in Las Cruces, Saturday October 3rd at 7:00pm, and Sunday October 4th at 3:00pm. Tickets are $15 for students ($12 for PADI members) and $20 for adults ($15 for PADI members).
