El Viaje del Arte

An interactive dance program for pre/elementary schools

Take a journey into the world of the dances that are home to the Southwest United States.

Travel though Spain, Africa, Turkey, the Caribbean, and Mexico to learn how cultures mix and integrate new ways into traditional customs.

Performance is 45 minutes in length. Then the students join dancers, Lucilene and Paco, in workshops to learn several of the dances.
