Public Schools Projects
- “Dance Alive at 2:35”: an after-school dance program. Currently 600 elementary students enrolled in Latin, creative movement, swing, hip-hop, tap, and Flamenco dance classes
- “El Viaje del Arte”: a production of the history and cultural importance of Classical Spanish and Flamenco dance for elementary students. Since 2006 have performed for over 4000 elementary students.
- “Arts-in-Education Programs: Bringing arts and movement activities to the classroom while learning math, science, history, geography, and language arts.
- “La Bella y Bestia”: a Southwest version of “Beauty and the Beast”. Since 2005 have performed for over 6000 elementary students in Southern New Mexico.
- “A Walk in the Desert”: a dance drama about learning the beauty of the desert. Since 2006 have performed for over 6000 Las Cruces elementary students.
Youth Programs
- Emmanuel Children’s Home: Collaborative performances with the children of the orphanage in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico. Since 2003 have sponsored the 4 benefit shows that were presented in Juarez, El Paso, and Las Cruces.
- Community dance classes for children 4-13 in the NMSU Dance studios since 2002.
