Dance Alive Summer Fest starts June 16

 

 

The New Mexico State University Dance department will be hosting Dance Alive Summer Fest 2008. The arts festival will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 16-20 in the NMSU Activity Center.
Students from ages 7-13 years old will be offered classes in a variety of dance styles, and other art forms such as music, painting, and creative writing. At 5:30 p.m. Friday, June 20, the students will show off their projects and perform for parents at the Student Showcase in the first floor of the Activity Center.  Instructors will include: NMSU Faculty, dance majors, and community artists.

On-site registration is from 9 a.m. to noon June 7, in the Activity Center. You can also register by phone by calling Lisette at (915) 731-8925 or Dr. Debra Knapp at (575) 646-4079. Cost is $110 per student for full week of instruction. Bring a friend and receive $20 off. Space is limited to the first 50 students that register.
