Dance Alive Summer Fest 2008, kicks off from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 16-20 at the NMSU Activity Center.
This festival is a great opportunity for youth engagement in the arts: lessons taught by professionals on various styles of dance, music, painting, and creative writing will take place for a week, culminating into an arts fair that showcases the special talents of all involved.
On-site registration takes place 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, May 31, and from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, June 7, at the Activity Center on the main campus. Fee is $110 per child. The festival is for children ages 7-13.
