The Renovation of O'Donnell Hall

The renovation of O'Donnell Hall is nearing completion. The west end of the building is open with a full schedule of classes. Ten of the fourteen classrooms currently in use have projectors, computer, video player, sound system and power screens. Technology will soon be installed in the remaininf four classrooms. The Learning Resource Center is in the process of being set up and will soon be open for business.
Various parts of the College of Education are still spread across campus while construction continues on the east end of the building. Most of the faculty from the Departments of Counselling and Educational Psychology, Curriculum & Instruction, and Educational Management and Development are housed in Regents Row (old dorm complex behind the Food Court). (See map for all campus locations.)
The Dean's office and Educational Research and Budgeting are located on the first floor of the Branson Library. Advising and Distance Education office are located on the second floor of the Zuhl Library
Below is a drawing of the proposed future College of Education Building. In this phase we will be adding the 3 story center portion of the building and remodeling the older portion of the building. The remodeling will include adding more insulation and windows to the older portion of the building. The college is seeking funding for the proposed science, math and technology wing to be added on in the future.
