Another Day with Rick Lavoie

Rick Lavoie has worked with children with special needs since 1972. He has three degrees in Special Education and has served as an adjunct professor/visiting lecturer at numerous universities including Syracuse, Harvard, Gallaudet, Georgetown, Manhattanville College, and the University of Alabama. His numerous national television appearances include the CBS Morning Show, Good Morning America, the ABC Evening News, and Disney Channel Presents. He serves as a consultant on Learning Disabilities to several agencies and organizations including the Public Broadcasting Service, the New York Times, the National Center for Learning Disabilities, the Girl Scouts of America, and WETA. He is a member of the Professional Advisory Board of the Learning Disabilities Association.
Mr. Lavoie will present on two topics, Life in the Jungle and Tales from the Road, which will be directed towards general educators, parents, special educators, administrators, university students, and university faculty.
