The College of Education Board of Advocates met twice this year. At our meeting in the Spring, we discussed taking the Board to a new level and becoming more directly involved in securing resources and support for the College. Since it's inception, the Board has assumed various roles, so at our second meeting in the Fall, we brought in consultants to help us recognize our purpose and strengths. Bill and Susan Skramstad spent an entire day with us in November, where we discussed possible mission statements and found ways we can work together to support the COE. This year we also formed an Executive Committee: Judge Larry Ramirez, Dr. Jack Cole, Senator Cynthia Nava. Thanks to our board, we can make a difference in New Mexico!
