New
to the College this year is a group of energetic individuals concentrating
on recruitment and retention from a different perspective. We decided
the College needed a new way of looking at communications with students.
We're proud to announce five student ambassadors that have really moved
our efforts to a new level. These individuals do everything from calling
potential students on the phone to helping plan and execute a state
conference with 150 middle and high school students. They have created
relationships with people around the state that will assist the College
for many years to come. The College will call on new individuals yearly
in order to sustain this program. Our charter members include: Codi
Block, Elementary Education, Daisy Granados, Bilingual Education, Angie
Gutierrez, Communication Disorders, Sapna Lalloo, Early Childhood Education,
and Anne Marie Murphey, Elementary Education.
