Distinguished Alumni Group Met in April
The College of Education Distinguished Alumni group met for the very first time collectively on Saturday, April 5, 2003. It was a great meeting that included many years of history in education. Dean Moulton hosted the alumni in order to share current COE initiatives in development. The group was very excited to hear about all of the 5-year goals for the COE. The group plans to assist the College in spreading the word about the wonderful things going on!

The group also announced their intention to endow a scholarship in the honor of New Mexico Representative J. Paul Taylor. Representative Taylor has dedicated the last 17 years to serving southern New Mexico and has always placed education at the top of his priority list.
Thank you to all the Distinguished Alumni for your ideas and dedication to education! Let's plan to meet again soon! For more information about this group or to get more involved in the development of the College of Education, please contact Pat Conn at paconn@nmsu.edu.
