Academic Advisors Meet at the COE

On Friday, July 25, 2003, Academic Advisors from 2-year institutions met at the College of Education. Institutions present were: Clovis Community College, Cochise College, Dona Ana Branch Community College, El Paso Community College, NMSU-Alamogordo, NMSU-Carlsbad, NMSU-Grants, Northern New Mexico Community College, South Plains College, Southwestern Indian Poly Institute and UNM-Gallup. The representatives from these institutions spent the day learning more about what the College has to offer in programs, services and facilities.

The group took a campus tour and ate lunch with NMSU President G. Jay Gogue, who expressed his thanks for their hard work and commented that community colleges are an integral part of a growing number of people's education. The College appreciates the time spent with these institutions and looks forward to more gatherings.
