Newly Completed Courtyard

The Courtyard located on the southside of O'Donnell is now available for events. This space has a grassy area with a stage that can hold events similar to those currently held in the atrium. If you are thinking about holding an award ceremony, student reception or any department function consider the newly finished courtyard.

Subway Construction Begins

Construction has begun on the café on the ground floor of O'Donnell Hall. The café will be a Subway and is expected to open in January.

The Contractor is ESA Construction. The contractor will be using the west end turn-around for parking and material delivery. They may put a storage pod in that area to temporarily store materials and equipment. So far, most of the traffic in and out of the café has been through the courtyard, however some traffic may be through the hallway. There will be some noise associated with the construction.

Once the Café is open expect to find fresh selections each day right in your building.

NMSU Digital Signage

The College of Education has recently joined ICT and ASNMSU in the campus-wide Digital Signage Project. This project involves the advertisement of student-oriented NMSU technology information on four 42 inch, flat panel LCD HDTVs. We have 2 flat panel screens in O'Donnell Hall, one in the atrium/lobby area and the other in the 2nd floor student study area. We are currently running the ASNMSU feed, with some of the college news added to their feed.
