New Student Welcome Reception

We are excited to announce New Student Welcome Reception-Orientation on August 22nd from 10 am to 12 pm. We highly encourage faculty -staff to participate. College of Education Ambassadors will lead our new students and YOU, our faculty and staff, in an ice breaker so we can meet our incoming freshmen and transfer students. We will follow the icebreakers with an Amazing Race that we ask YOU to help guide one of the 9 groups. You will help students follow clues that will lead you in a race to locate CoEd-NMSU items. First team to gather all items and return to O'Donnell Hall Lobby will win a pizza party during the first full week of classes with their team!

After these fun activities, we will have Dean Michael Morehead give a welcome and introduce department heads. We encourage faculty and staff to join us following the welcome for refreshments to continue connecting with students.
