Institutional Report 2009

Welcome to New Mexico State University’s 2009 Institutional Report to the National Council for the Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE). NCATE is the accrediting agency for all of NMSU’s teacher preparation programs, including those in the Colleges of Education, Arts and Sciences, Business, and Agricultural, Consumer and Environmental Sciences. NCATE is one of the more rigorous accrediting agencies for professional schools and requires extensive internal review and preparation. NMSU’s teacher preparation programs have been accredited since 1961. Our continuing accreditation demonstrates a commitment to education excellence.

The Institutional Report is NMSU's official submission to NCATE, encompassing the six Standards, as well as the Overview and Conceptual Framework Summary. Please find the Institutional Report in its entirety here.
