Workorders are prioritized based on the type of user as well as the descriptions you submit. The priority for technical work is as follows:

  1. Instructional needs - classrooms first!
  2. Faculty and staff equipment used in instruction.
  3. Faculty & staff equipment supporting instruction.
  4. Non-instructional uses (grants, projects, etc.

Departments are reminded that all computers within the College of Education must have current virus protections installed including scheduled updates and email protection.

Laptop support is taken care of in the LRC. Please bring any power cables and drives with your laptop when you request service. Personal equipment support is not available. It is easier for us to provide new system installations if the new computer (laptop or desktop) is brought to the LRC so we can preload software. We will not need the monitor unless you have purchased a non-standard device.
