Tip of the Month - Did You Know?


In 1997, 3.3 billion water bottles were sold; that number jumped to 15 billion in 2002. "Only about 12 percent of…water [bottles] were recycled in 2003. That's 40 million bottles a day that went into the trash or became litter." read more... These kinds of plastics, and others, when they find their way into our eco-system are causing massive problems, including a "continent-size toxic stew of plastic trash fouling a swath of the Pacific Ocean".  read more ...
