COE's Education Policy & Research agenda is to advance knowledge in understanding how changes in policy affect education, learners, teachers, and education communities.

  • Dr. H. Prentice Baptiste is engaged in a continuing research project called Spotlight on the Presidency that uncovers and examines the social and cultural forces that influence the Presidency.

  • Dr. Gary Ivory is conducting a Longitudinal Study of the Principalship, a 10-year study of principals' pERBeptions of school issues and potential solutions.

  • Drs. Loui Reyes, David Rutledge, Myriam Torres, and Louis Huerta-Charles are conducting Research on Research Methodologies. They are studying and sharing emerging paradigms of research methodologies including participatory action research.
