Extended Program

Extended Program (52 Credits)
The Extended Program is designed to spread the academic coursework and clinical practica over 3 years. No clinical practicum is done during the Fall and Spring terms of the first year, allowing for concentration on academic coursework during the early transition to the scholarship phase of the program. Clinical practicum begins during the summer of the first year and another summer of practicum can occur between the second and third year of the program. This allows two time frames for concentrating only on clinical work. However, doing clinical practicum during the summer between year 2 and year 3 will add credit hours to the basic 52 credits.
