Below is a suggested sequence for PEP/SPM courses. Students can fill in the professional education courses not listed in places that are free.
Anywhere in Freshman or Sophomore Year students should take the following
- PEP 185: Foundations of Physical Education – 3 credits
- PEP 250: Sport Safety – 2 credits
- PEP 208: Fitness For Health And Sport – 3 credits
Sophomore Year
- SPM 271 & SPM 271L: Anatomy & Anatomy Lab – 4 credits
- EDUC 315: Multicultural Education – 3 credits
Junior Year Fall Semester
- SPM 310: Anatomical Kinesiology
- PEP 341: Motor Development – 3 credits
- PEP 392: Theory of Sports and Games - 3 credits
- PEP 393: Theory of Dance and Rhythms – 1 credit
- PEP 318: Lifetime Activities I – 2 credits
- PEP 319: Lifetime Activities II – 2 credits
Junior Year Spring Semester
- SPM 308: Exercise Physiology (prerequisite SPM 271 & SPM 271L) – 4 credits
