Silvia Green is a graduate of New Mexico State University with a Bachelor of Arts ('86) in Psychology and a Master of Arts('89) in Counseling and Educational Psychology. Upon graduation Silvia received the Vaughn Corley Award for Outstanding Leadership in Intramural Athletics.

Silvia presently holds the position of Assistant Director of Intramural Programs, as well as that of part time instructor in the Physical Education, Recreation and Dance department. Silvia have been with the Intramural Program for five years and is primarily responsible for facilities, maintenance and student personnel. Silvia acts as faculty/staff advisor to the Women's Rugby Club, Women's Soccer Club, NMSU Judo Club and Capoeira de Las Cruces Club.

Silvia's teaching responsibilities include the following:
PE P 280 Perceptual Motor Development (ECED majors)
PE P 286 Wellness and Lifestyle Choices (team taught with HL S faculty)
PE P 306 Coaching of Softball (coaching minor/offered every other fall)
PE P 311 Organization and Administration (risk management unit)

A variety of Basic Instruction Classes (beginning racquetball, beginning physical fitness, beginning weight training and beginning golf).
