Mary Esther Valenzuela has served the Department of Physical Education, Recreation and Dance for the past year in a Secretary II position. She provides support for instructors by typing instructional materials and assisting students with their needs. The Department of Physical Education, Recreation and Dance is one of NMSU's largest student employers and Mary Esther is responsible for managing the paper trail for the hiring and payment of students. However, one of the most important roles she has is representing the department professionally as she greets individuals when they first come into the office.
