Carolyn has served the Department of Physical Education, Recreation and Dance for the past seven years as the department's office manager. She serves in one of the College of Education's more complex departments which has three facilities and numerous accounts that have to be managed. Carolyn has an excellent working knowledge of department, college and university policies and procedures. It is this knowledge and the excellent conceptual and technical skills she possesses that allow her to serve as a KEY individual who provides the support necessary for faculty and professional staff, as well as over 30 part-time instructors, to serve the students at New Mexico State University. One of Carolyn's greatest assets is her pleasant demeanor with which she manages disgruntled faculty, staff, students and the department head. Carolyn plays a significant role in how effectively the Department of Physical Education, Recreation and Dances's goals and objectives are accomplished.
