Mission

The Curriculum and Learning Technologies Specialization at New Mexico State University provides educators with the knowledge, skills & disposition to use technology to meet the learning needs of a diverse society. Specifically, we work to

  • Ensure that students in teacher education graduate capable of integrating technology in meaningful ways with teaching and learning
  • Provide rigorous, relevant, and comprehensive graduate programs in curriculum development and learning technologies designed to meet the state and national competencies for information technology coordinators and educational technology specialists in K-12 schools and higher education.
  • Expand access to graduate education for educational leaders through the use of a combination of on-site and distributed education.
