Mentoring & Supervision
The MA Counseling Program provides students with unique opportunities for professional development. Housed in the College of Education Building is the Counseling & School Psychology Training & Research Center, where state of the art supervision rooms assist in training developing counselors in practicum settings for both individual and group work. Advanced Practicum opportunities in community schools are available and constitute an integral part of the curriculum. Mental health counseling internships are available in a variaty of settings, such as agencies and psychiatric hospitals.
