Curriculum Vitae

Dr. Savage is an assistant professor and the Training Director of the school psychology program. He also chairs the School Psychology Training Committe. He received his Ph.D. in school psychology from the University of Kentucky. Additionally, Dr. Savage completed training in the Gestalt method at the Cincinnati (Ohio) Gestalt Institute. He teaches graduate level courses in the areas of assessment, diagnostic, classification, counselling and consultation. His research interests include culturally responsive education, culturally responsive psychology, and lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender issues as they impact learning environments.
