Join Us in Transforming Lives

What makes the College of Education so extraordinary? People like you! Friends and partners who recognize and support our amazing students, faculty and staff.

Our students are an inspiration, giving selflessly to their communities off and on campus without one thought of recognition or credit. These strivers and learners are dedicated to giving their all outside as well as inside of the classroom. Of course, at the heart of every academic program, research project, collaboration, outreach activity and clinic are passionate, committed student-centered faculty and staff. Quite often, I find our faculty and staff going above and beyond- coming to work early in the mornings, staying late and even putting in hours on the weekend. Everywhere I turn, I see evidence of the depth and breadth of our faculty and staff commitment to seeing students reach their potential.

We must also recognize another amazing group: our kind and generous donors and supporters who work side-by-side with us transforming lives. In spite of the current economic climate and the many economic challenges we all face, these wonderful people are pledged to continue to help us in our mission and are finding ways to not only maintain, but to increase their giving and support in so many ways.

You may want to perpetuate a legacy of your own through your own endowed scholarship, professorship or chair. With a minimum investment, you start the process of establishing a named scholarship endowment; you have up to five years to reach the applicable endowed amount.

As you plan your philanthropic goals for this year, please consider joining us in our important work. We are proud to serve New Mexico's schools and communities with teaching, research and outreach initiatives that drive the state's economy and strengthen families.

My very best to you and thank you for giving,
